General Information

Hellion is a PvE oriented raiding guild on Horde side on The Maelstrom - EU (PvP) realm.

We are semi hardcore with our approach to progressing through the raid content in the game. It means we take raiding seriously. We buff up to the max on progress encounters. We research the raiding community and analyze our combat logs to find the best tactic and raid composition for the bosses. When progressing our raiding schedule extends for five days per week. We understand however, that WoW is not the most important thing in the world and players that cannot commit to the raiding anymore often stay as part of the social community of the guild.

Our main goals in the game are to defeat all raid encounters and achievements Blizzard introduces, to be amongst the guilds fighting for realm first kills on The Maelstrom and to be a social community to our members and the rest of the people playing with us on the realm.

Raids

Heroic Raid Schedule
When progressing we raid 25 man instances on Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. 

Normal Raid Schedule
We organize 10 man raids on offdays. If our members wish to do these with a PuG they are free to do so.

Raiding Times
We raid from 19.00 to 23.30 except on Sundays where start at 18.00.

DKP System
We use an open bidding DKP system. We have used this system for 4 years with minor tweakings and it works very well in distributing the loot based on the effort of the individual player. After passing the trial period new members have equal chances on the loots very quickly.

Trial a.k.a. Murlochood

After being accepted into Hellion, you will go through a trial period where the established members will review, evaluate and discuss your activity and performance.

The trial will last for approximately three weeks.

Leadership

Hellion is run by the Guild Leader and a group of Officers. Our raids are led by designated Raidleaders.
