1. Hi there Vénge, and welcome to HellionCast! First of all I'd like to congratulate you on passing your trial. Lets start with a bit about yourself outside of WoW. Any jobs / school or hobbies?Since I was 15 years old I have been a fence erector and landscape gardener with my dad.
My hobbies include ice skating, motor cross, and Street Dance.
2. So Vénge, you play a Shaman here in Hellion. Why did you choose to play Shaman?In all honesty I started playing Shaman because I was in a arena at level 70 on my hunter and a Shaman jumped out of Ghost Wolf and 2 shot me.
And I was like ye I want some of that then I started getting into the Shaman ways.
I enjoyed the dps I was getting and I enjoyed the benefits I bought to a raid.
Now Blizz have played with it a little bit you have to work hard to do anything decent and it makes me feel feel like I am working for m place in the guild rather then a steady auto shot rotation. ( sorry Kael )
3. What is it that you like most about playing your class?It's got to be Heroism.
4. How would you compare the raiding environment and feel in Hellion to past guilds?I would say that Hellion's raid environment is one of the best I've experienced in my 4 years of WoW. We have a joke and have a relaxed environment but when we need to get something done or a new boss killed, we get it done.
Old guilds would be all serious business, don't talk till I say and do this now or be replaced that just makes you feel like WoW is a job and as we all know it's not. It's a hobby.
5. What would you say are the best and worst parts about being in Hellion?Best parts is the enthusiasm for the kills that ( don't matter ). :S Basically the new kills of the wing boss's in ICC that people say don't matter because it's normal but we still strive to get the server 1sts.
Worst part is not getting Insanity at 0.5%.
6. If Blizzard suddenly decided to remove Shamans from the game, and you had to choose a new main, what would it be and why?Paladin or Mage. Paladin in my personal opinion are the best tanks in the game, they also have awesome dps and are good healers and an all round choice for when you're not sure what you want in the game.
I have always like Mages and the Arcane tree is the way I have always said to go and I stick with that.
7. Which areas of your gameplay style or raid performance do you feel you can improve on? (Everyone has room for improvement! )IM NOT SURE BECAUSE I THINK I'M THE BEST. Maybe my soaking on Twins needs a lil help so maybe spacial awareness.
8. Lets speak hypothetically for a second. There are internal management problems in Hellion and you become GM! The guild needs to be streamlined and you need to /gkick either Kaelaris, Alcestis, Arsunor, Dabuul or Listorian. Which do you kick and why?GOT to say that "hypothetically" it would be Listo, sorry dude.
Just i see a lot of... ermm. Contradictions :O, you asked the question I gave the answer.
9. Biggest lootwhore in the guild?Sorry :s but its got to be Tumtum
10. Who you believe to be the best player in the guild? Yourself excluded, obviously.There are 3 in my opinion, Psycose, not been here long BUT AWESOME.
Kaelaris is great and I'm not bum licking.
And Psio.
11. What do you imagine that Icecrown will further have in store for us?Well, I hope that the heroic versions are going to be a little different and challenging. I am really looking forward to the Lich King, I'm imagining a more epic fight then Illidan.
12. What is your main reason to play the game?I like the concept of a game that "never ends". There is no completed part of the game, it just goes on and I like the different encounters and different play styles you can have to this game.
13. Addons. What do you use, how do you have your UI configured?I use a gaming pad, also I use Dominos Clique cast bars, Sexy map, Recount and Xperl raid frames.
14. Favorite boss fight? And why?Anub heroic. Still tricky, still a element of surprise and still RNG.
15. Any final words?Yes, thanks for the invite to the guild on my poor poor application. Sorry if this seems vague as well but I'm not very good at these and I hope we progress just as well in ICC and Cataclysm and beyond.
